We didn't stay long, due to the crowd and stench. On our way out, we saw a little puppy pooping ... on it's cage-mate! We told the staff at the front desk on our way out of the store. "Yeah, they're puppies they do that.".

Went in the store on Friday, just cruising around the mall. Being a pet store you don't expect it to smell nice, but it reeked of dog poop (worse than any other time I've been in the same store).

I noticed “reviewers” claiming sick, abused, puppy mill animals. All you activists need to find a real problem and work to fix that problem. Pet stores are regulated and inspected. Bring some proof to the table instead of accusations.

5 months ago purchased a puppy from Pet City. We love her. She is intelligent and so much fun. The staff was very knowledgeable and caring. We recently “lost” our Boston Terrier we had purchased from Pet City nearly 15 years ago. I will be looking for our new family member there too.

My dog had just died he was 16 years old. I was very sad and had heard awful things about this pet store but they were accommodating at first. My boyfriend had told me channel 7??? had done a investigation on the owner for puppy mills and a dirty store, Being heart broken I bought a puppy on credit so I could take him home that day but was told at the end of the transaction I needed to give them$ 200 dollars for deposit. I wrote a check and was told by the owner that they would hold the check and I would pay by cash the next day which I did long story short she cash the check 3 month later she said she ripped up. She said she had accidentally cashed it and would send a check out that day.The owner lied and never sent the check. $200 is a lot of money for a special ed teacher. The owner Cindy has lied over and over I had to go to the bank to file a report of fraud. I also will file a police a report and I will follow up on the puppy mill accusation, The owner is unprofessional and does care about there animals its about money. I will look into contacting Peta and consumer report for poor business ethics. My mission is to have this puppy mill, money maker closed down. I will start protesting this store if you would like to join me please do. Cindy is her name. I will contact the owner of the mall tomorrow. The puppy are full of poop and in small cages.

This place should be ashamed of themselves! How are they still in business?!? I bought our beautiful chocolate lab there a year ago. He was missing hair around his eyes and was severely dehydrated. When we took him to the vet we found out he had coccidia, giardia, and an over growth of bacteria. After 4 months of diarrhea, antibiotics, and thousands of dollars he was finally healthy. Then out of the blue he starts itching and losing all of his hair so we get him on some medication that needs to be given daily and is very expensive. Fast forward to last Monday when he starts getting very lethargic. We take him in and do X-ray, and an ultrasound which shows advanced cancer in his spleen, liver, lymph, and throughout his abdomen. We had to put him down yesterday at 17 months old. This cancer can be avoided with responsible breeding which this puppy mill does not do. Save yourself the heartache and loss of losing your baby and go somewhere else.

At first I was glad when I walked in because most of the puppies looked happy. Unfortunately, the further I walked in, the more sick the pups looked. There were a few dogs that clearly have kennel cough. One dog specifically was laying face down in diarrhea (bloody diarrhea at that) that couldn’t stop coughing and eyes couldn’t even stay open. Even more disappointing than that, I saw an employee shove a couple puppies into the wall. I went over to the puppies he shoved and tried petting one because it appeared very scared and timid. It was very head shy, appearing to have been abused. I’m not making accusations, only stating what I had to witness. I’m sure some of the pups are very happy and I’m sure some of the employees are wonderful too. Unfortunately my experience today was disappointing and I feel so sad for those babies.

Really? Out of the 3 employees standing & doing nothing, we get that response. If you're trying to sell puppies for ludicrous prices, keep them clean!

How lazy can you be?

Side note to mention; several of the dogs' noses were as dry as sand! So many of the dogs in there look miserable.
