Beautiful place but the buckle and dime you. They make you pay for showers their coin machines don't work and the vending machines are set up not to give change back. They have laundry machines which are nice if you need them but also those don't have a coin return. The camping registration fee does not cover the state park fee so you have to pay for both.

Nice laundry and shower facility. They are set up for cold weather so you can still hook up water the staff is very informative and nice. They are closing down to one small campsite through the winter so if you don't have a reservation you will probably not get in and reservations are months out hope your planning on camping in Colorado apparently were to broke to keep our campgrounds open. And it's cheaper to buy an annual pass than it is to pay daily entrance fees for vehicles but make sure you can stay long enough to maximise the annual pass. The have like probably close to a 100 sites but there only gonna use 15 all winter so like I said good luck.

This is a great campground! We come 2-3 times a year

A gorgeous place to camp with great individual sites, but very spread out - the emtrance is not walkimg distance from the sites and the park office so you have to drive or bike everywhere, which is just annoying. And then you have to pay for the showers. 1.25 for 7 minutes, which would be fine if the showers weren't awful. A soft drizzle has more water and water pressure. If i have to pay at least make it better than a gas station shower.

Great spot to camp close to city, but you probably wont be able to stay here. Somehow CO Springs managed to keep their state park operating, but Denver's only close park cannot??? Seems like someone is trying to make a point.
