Just a nice place inside the city to relax. Little pricey. We dry camped. Watch out for Rangers trying to charge you twice, we were harassed. She hadn't even ckd her tube yet and accused us of not paying. She then ckd it and found we had pd. Why did she do this? We ckd in after hrs, pd. Then pd again in the am for the next night, apparently y I u must appear in person to register if you stay another night. Really??? Next time, ck the tube, then kindly explain the policy. Not accuse the guest of not paying. Seems like they drive by alot.
Pricy but we decided to give them another shot. We got there and they lied about being full when they clearly dam near empty. I had called to make reservations but was told i did not need them that there was plenty of room. Will not go back
No electricity or water on the camp sites. There was water hydrants here and there so you could fill a container. Site I had # 118 had a rather large hole, almost didn't get the camper level. Not enough blocks. On the plus side it was only $18 per night.
It is a great place for a get away with a friend and family to enjoy and have fun.
Cherry Creek reservoir is small but good fishing and the campsite showers & laundry area are kept clean by State Park. In the city and expensive $30 per night ($9 day pass + $21 for tent site ouch!). Book way in advance for summer nights & bring a boat. Enjoy
