In my experience, Dr. Wanna and all Ponderosa staff go above and beyond with respect to delivering excellent care. Dr. Wanna addressed significant concerns of mine quickly and professionally with a superb bedside manner. Through subsequent visits, Dr. Wanna's actions proved to me that I was in great hands, and finding a good doctor puts one at ease. I would personally recommend and escort my loved ones to Dr. Wanna and/or other Ponderosa providers because i'm confident they will receive excellent care and a seamless, coordinated patient experience.
Reading these reviews I was a little worried about going in today but I had a great experience. The front desk staff were friendly, as well as the nurse. Dr.Hrywnak was amazing! I never leave reviews but I felt like I had to because it was opposite of what everyone else was posting.
Worst experience I've ever had at a doctors office. My appointment was at 4 and they asked me to get there a few minutes early to sign paperwork. I got there at 3:45 and proceeded to sign the paperwork about how they will charge for missed appointments and eventually not allow you to come back. At 4:45 I asked if I was going to be seen by the doctor since my appointment was at 4 and I had to get my kids from daycare. The doctor didn't know I could hear her and remarked in a snotty voice "other people have bigger problems than me and I'll just have to wait" I went back to nurse and asked if I could see someone else or reschedule. They got me in with another doctor who had no idea what she was talking about and when I called to set a follow up appointment said I'd have to see a specialist which isn't covered by my insurance.
Went in to talk about an ear infection. When I was in I brought up an unrelated issue and was told that they would only see a patient about one issue per appointment. Would only have taken a couple minutes to talk about. Seemed apparent that they wanted to maximize patient appointments in order to maximize profits. Seemed that they didn't care about the time you took out of your life. Additionally, staff was rude. They may have a nice website and office....but poorly run organization. Will be changing physicians....
This place is horrible! If there was a negative rate star I would give it. Doctors are nice, however everything excluding the doctors was the worst experience ever! The staff is extremely rude and they really show an effort to make you feel like they do not care. All they care about is money.Appointments are not needed since you end up waiting way past your appointment time, and they always send random bills that they never even tell you about when you go in or it doesn't apply to you. However they still make you pay it or kick you out if you don't. When you try to talk to the billing department with a problem you already hear the attitude in their voice. We go there as a family and lately we are not happy at all and WILL NOT be returning all!!!!
