Showed up after calling to give me an eta, and the two gentlemen were the fastest, most efficient movers I've ever used.
Easy to arrange, prices comparable with other companies.
The only negative is that if you request a quote, you will receive MULTIPLE phone calls from other employees even after you've set up the move asking if you still want information. That got old quickly.
Service was way over sold. We were promised floor protection, haul away of all packing materials and a highly professional, courteous crew with years of experience. Floor protection consisted of a 25' runner from the entry door into the living room. Nothing more for the hardwood floors, staircases or carpeted areas. We refused to allow the move to progress without floor protection so the crew stood around for two hours while we repeatedly called and argued for the service promised. Eventually the crew and fully loaded truck left, returning in the morning with minimal carpet protection for the stairways. Crew was an experience mix from the nearly newly hired to those with several years of experience and a bad attitude. The crew rushed to minimize the hours of the offload and unpack. At least 3 times I stopped them from leaving when I discovered unpacked furniture or boxes in one room or another just as they were headed for their truck to return to their home base. We also had to argue with the crew and their local office manager to have the packing materials hauled away, as had been promised. In the end we paid a very high price for an unsatisfactory move. We even had to pay for the hours the crew did nothing while we demanded some minimal floor protection. You don't have much leverage to obtain fair treatment when the moving company holds a large part of your prized possessions hostage.
Horrible company! They packed our truck for out move from Denver to MN. Unloading the truck and discovered that they didn't wrap most of our wooden furniture to protect it. Plenty of unused moving blankets left in the back of the truck. Submitted a claim along with pictures showing how the truck was packed by them. Their response was that there wasn't enough proof showing that it was their packing job that caused the damage and denied the claim. Lawyers now getting involved. You can't take compensation for packing a truck a d then deny that they packed the truck! Stay away unless you want to be overcharged and your stuff damaged!!
Overall, the move itself was great, just request that you receive no other calls after booking other than confirmation.
I am so glad I called All My Son's when I had to move. Going through a divorce is hard enough without adding the anxiety and stress of moving. However, from the moment I contacted them, they were nothing but kind and supportive. Sean was the person who booked my move, and he was so sweet; he put my nerves at rest. From the confirmation emails and phone calls I received from Jonathan, to the three professional men who moved me, I truly felt like I had the help of family with me every step of the way. All My Son's is fairly priced and upfront about cost which was also a big relief. This move took me from my home to storage, but I have already called and scheduled to use the same crew when I move from storage to my new home. I would happily recommend All My Son's to anyone in need of a moving company.
Not the cheapest in town but they make up for it in their attention to detail and service. They came out to take inventory of our stuff and took good care of it during transport. Crew was pleasant, professional and easy to work with. We ended up paying a little less than originally quoted. Other moving companies I received quotes from didn't give as much attention or detail, so I felt more comfortable going with All My Sons.
