I contacted Grassroots based on some recommendations from the Nextdoor App and from what I read on here. The communication with them was great from the start and the price couldn't be beat. I had 3 guys and a truck come and they made my move very easy. They did have a small accident with one bed that broke, but they were very apologetic about it and gave me more than fair compensation on it. Accidents happen and they took care of me. I would recommend them to anyone.
This is the second time we have used GrassRoots Moving company and they surpassed our expectations once again. We hired 4 movers and a 24 foot moving truck. Our movers were CJ, Johnny and two gentlemen named Josh. All four were extremely friendly, polite and FAST! They moved all of our belongings and had them unloaded in 2 hours and 45 minutes and that includes a 30 minute drive to our new place. I cannot recommend them enough and will definitely be using GrassRoots for our future move!
Movers were friendly and professional. They moved at a steady pace and were careful to wrap all my stuff. I felt safe with the movers handling our stuff. Price was fair and competitive. Would recommend.
super nice and professional, got the job done fast. from the first time i called until the end of the move, they were very polite and helpful. they were flexible and did everything the way it should be done. the apartment i lived in was in a very awkward location and was hard to get things (especially the couch and a large chair) out of, but they were able to do it! would recommend to anyone!

Despite some delays getting started due to situations outside the company's control, the owner Geoff was super understanding and helped resolve the issue, taking accountability for the traffic delay. Geoff's willingness to take ownership of the situation and make it right coupled 5-star customer service with 5-star moving quality.
The moving crew all had several years of experience and worked quickly but carefully. No items were damaged in the move, and they were ingenious in how they moved a bulky couch.
