I think that we have had excellent care here. His needs have been completely met. The case managers have been extremely helpful with all the necessary paperwork and really helped explain all of the different questions we had. The nurses were so good to us. They were very caring and went the extra mile to help with any requests. The CNA's and RT's were wonderful as well. Therpy was absolutely great, very gentle and really took the time to explain things.
My father has been here since mid August and I'm sorry to say the staff don't care. My father can not speak due to his injury, therefore he is put on the back burner. More then a handful of times just showing up to see him, he smelled so bad. I personally start washing him up. He can't call for help when he needs, they are suppose to do rounds every hour yet I could sit up there 2-4 hrs at a time and no one comes to check on him. They claim they are short staffed but yet have all the staff sitting around talking. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
My hubby was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre' Syndrome. The month while he was there, the staff was outstanding! In nursing Holly & Anna. Doctors-Dr Miller & Dr Yeager. And in administration Leigh, Michael and Jeanette helped my husband & I so much to get through and understand what's going on and what to expect. The syndrome very rare, can take a toll. With encouragement & heart, the staff at Kindred Aurora was more then I could ask for. Like family... To know they truly cared about & for my husband (and I) was priceless. He came scared & hopeless. Machine dependant and paralyzed, was leaving with knowledge, goals and almost walking on his own!! Thank you all so much!!! God bless and you really kept him going even on the roughest days with hope. Amen for all the positive vibes and without you all he might not have gotten so far... Well soon be back to say hello! Thanks again!!
I can't believe the people here, the security guards here dont know how to be friendly and just gives you attitude like your a nobody. Also they just keep my mom in bed all day, haven't even tried and let her try to walk. Atleast when she comes back into town for rehab i know they will actually take care of her and get her moving around, hell even her surgeon is pist off at this place, dont recommend this place.
I am a sixty-seven year old female. Recently I had a ruptured appendix. After being hospitalized, I had to go to a Kindred Hospital for acute care. I found myself being treated like a family member, with care, consideration, and lots of laughter. I'm happy to say that I have recovered enough to go home. I will miss the staff, who I consider friends, and I want them to know that I would recommend their services to anyone in need of this level of care. The entire staff deserves the highest praise and kudos for their professionalism and expert care. And thanks to them, I'm can enjoy my retirement with my husband and family and move on to the next phase of my life.
